Closer

This movie is about love affairs between two couples. All the men and women in this movie have different personalities and attitude toward love. Besides the excellent plot, I regard the performers in this move are fascinating, too. The actors are Jude Law, Clive Owen and the actresses are Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman.
Beginning with Daniel and Alice occasionally meet each other on a street and then they fall in love. However after two years, the man has an extramarital relation with the other woman called Anna. By a trick Daniel made, Anna happens to meet her boyfriend called Larry. This complicated plot intrigues me a lot because this is definitely a bloody truth which is still happening in nowadays society.
My viewpoints will start from analyzing these people’s thoughts respectively. Daniel represents a man with a childish heart. He is tricky, romantic but without rationality. He has a long-dated girlfriend and he knows that he loves her so much. However, he still wants to capture Anna’s heart. This man is a typical bastard who does not care about other’s feeling but only wants to control all the circumstances. By the way, this role is performed by Jude Law which is somewhat matched to his real life. Because I read about his scandals that he just made lots of women pregnant.
Daniel’s girlfriend is called Alice. Actually, Alice is a stripper from the other country and her original name is Jane. I was confused why she deceived Daniel in the beginning. Then I realize that, after she found out herself in love with Daniel, she was not the original “Jane”. She is totally devoted herself when falling in love. This heroine is my favorite one in this movie, because she knows what she wants and concentrates on what she loves.
The other woman who Dan is in love with is called Anna. Anna is typical woman who does not know what she exactly wants. She follows her intuition and easily captivated. She hurt other people’s heart in an unconscious way. Most people will probably say Anna is so stupid because she does not know how to refuse others and also irresolute and hesitant all the time.
Anna’s boyfriend is called Larry who is so intelligence, crafty and knows human beings’ weakness. This man has a strong heart of vengeance. But some of his vengeance appears because he is deeply heart by someone else. Larry is hurt by Anna when Anna chooses Dan. Larry tries every possible means wanting Anna back to his side. One of those means includes perverted one. This pervert mean successfully ruins the relationship between Anna and Dan. At the end, he finally wins Anna back but the sarcastic fact is that he does not win Anna’s heart back. Is this kind of love affair is what he really wants? Or it is just what he wants to claim that he is the winner after all. This kind of man loves war, women and sex whom we can totally call them a bastard, too.
This movie successful creates four different kinds of people, not fictionally, but factually. This is why after I finished watching this movie; I would rather call Closer a scary movie. This movie throws a stunning bomb in my heart which I can not recover my pain injured deeply in my soul.

The Reflection after Watching the Movie “The Reader”

I was interested in this movie before watching because it won lots of awards around the world. The heroine in this movie is Kate Winslet who is a well-known actress of her exquisite performance. She also won the best actress award in the Oscar Academy Awards. After finish watching this movie, I think the honor is definitely based on actual achievements. In this movie, Kate Winslet acts an impressive interpretation of a woman who hides a secret which at the end leads to her miserable afterlife.
She falls in love with a youth but leaves without giving a word. After the youth grows up and become an intelligent lawyer, he finally finds out the secret of this woman whom he was in love with. He at the end understands that why she refuses to read the menu when they go to the restaurant? Why she likes the kid to read a novel every day? Why she leaves without telling him the reason? Why she quits her job and then joins Nazi?
Looked like a confidence woman, the woman has a huge sense of inferiority - because she is an illiterate person. The reason why she quits her job as an office worker and then working as a janitor of Auschwitz Concentration Camp is because that the later job does not need the ability of recognizing words. She was fabricated charged as the main murderer of the camp. Because she is afraid to tell that she is illiterate, she does not make any justification. However, watching things happen, the youth does not tell the truth at all. The woman was sentenced life imprisonment.
She learns how to recognize the words in the jail and thought the youth is still in love with her. After they meet each other, the youth gives an aloof attitude which causes the woman commits suicide.
I cannot understand why the woman would rather spend her life in the prison rather than admitting that she cannot read words. Then I think that to the woman, admitting illiteracy is more shameful, dishonorable and criminal than killing 300 people in Auschwitz. After several years, the boy becomes a talented man; he is not just merely a youth but a “somebody”. But the man is still quite coward to defend the woman’s position. To hide his weakness, he tries to judge the woman by an ethical aspect, so he gives an aloof attitude to her in the prison. The woman in the jail’s only hope disintegrates soon than she chooses another drastic way to finish her life. After she’s dead, the man can finally face himself then tells his daughter this regretful past. This movie gives me an idea which is the woman is dead because she has kept a secret, while the man rebirth because he faces his inconvenient secret.

The reflection after watching the movie "atonement"

I was overwhelmed after watching this movie. First, the director has a great skill of depicting people's inner feelings. The scenery of his movie is gorgeous and warming. Second, the actors perform excellent, too. Especially the little girl in that movie, with her excellent acting, I was immersed into the plot soon and hardly extracted after the movie ends.

Briony is good at writing a play. She devoted herself into portraying by her profuse imagination. Unfortunately, she fell in love with a guy who her sister also in love with. After seeing them making out in a study, Briony uses every possible means to incriminate to the guy by rigging events. After she successfully revenge, all the circumstances lead to both her sister and the boy a miserable afterlife.

This movie is absolutely a tragedy. As the love affair which all the teens concern about, one little mistake which becomes an irredeemable result. After Briony's seventies, she becomes a successful writer. She published her last book which is talked about this story. Because of her coward personality, she can only tell the truth to be forgiven by her own self when she becomes old. However, spilt water cannot be gathered up, she will live with a guilty heart forever.

Reflection after watching Bridget Jone's Diary

First of all, I will show some sentences which are useful or interesting to me while watching this movie.
1. I do not meet a blind day, particularly not with some verbally unconsciousness spinster and dressed like a mother.
2. I suddenly realized that unless something changed soon, I was going to live a life of that my major relationship was with a bottle of wine.
3. It is truth universally acknowledge that the moment one area of your life starts going O.K., another part falls spectacularly to pieces.
4. I’ve realized that I’ve become deeply committed to communicate into public, these up to the moment on in-depth news both political and bionomical.
5. Nothing can distract me from my dedication to the procedural truth.
6. He is clearly the most dreadful cold fish.

And then here are my reflection and summarization about this movie:
I think this movie is a modern version of Pride and Prejudice. This movie is about a cordial, wholehearted and devoted woman whose name is Bridget Jones. She was mocked by a man when they met a blind day. However, the man’s sarcastic ridicule led to her determination to be a wonderful woman. She first dated with her boss and then dumped by the guy soon. Finally, she found her true love.
I was impressed by Rennes Zellwagar’s acting in this movie. She performed a sincere but dull woman greatly. By her passionate personality and optimistic thoughts, I was totally motivated. I discovered some useful traits of her personality, which are patience, enthusiastic and devoutness. I think these are required to survive in nowadays society.

Ways to improve Chung Hsing University

We were discussing what kind of plans can make our university better. Since I am a junior student, I think there are so many parts need to be improved. I have come up with some ideas which the school can concern about. Also, I give some personal opinions to improve the university.
First, I will give each student a brochure which is highly versatile. The brochure contains all the information which freshman may be confused when they first enter Chung Hsing University.
My plan to improve the university includes six parts:
1. University grounds
More and more people ride bike to attend to the class. However, the road is too rugged and not wide enough. It may cause something dangerous happen. So the school should fix the road and give a complete plan to consolidate riders’ advantages. Also, the plan should contain the rules for the people who ride a bike.
Second, they should plan a roadway which can only go by bicycles. While we walk in this campus, we can hardly run into a person who rides a bike. Therefore, it is necessary for school to do such scheme. The university in other countries has a complete rule. They have a sign for riders, they teach riders to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks, and stipulate them to display proper illumination. We should have these kinds of laws, too.
2. University facilities
There are only about three or four restaurants in this university. However, we have about only one hour to take a break and eat our lunch. Our school is not near a popular night market as Fung Chia University. When it is lunch time, we have to wait about ten to twenty minutes waiting in a long line. Unless you go to a convenience store but it is not healthy at all. You may have a stomachache problem persisting for a long time. School does not need to build their own restaurant if they don’t want to spend extra money. They can attract some vendors or set some vending machine. For example, in Taiwan University, they have got a bakery, convenience stores, a café, and all kinds of restaurants. Also, School can put some pavilions and seats around the restaurant for students to relax, have their meal, or discuss their homework.
It is good for school to have a gym, but it is not a good policy for school to charge for admission. Exercising is certainly required in our daily life. Why students go to get some exercises need to pay addition fee?
Third, library should not allow the people who are not the students in NCHU. During the exams period, we cannot see any empty places for us to study. The students who studies in the university cannot use their library is ridiculous. And some children are yelling, chatting, eating or even stealing in the library. Those will decrease our learning efficiency.Also, there doesn’t have enough parking lots. Many scooters are parked at a wrong space which contributes to an inconvenience for some people and some cars. I suggest school should use some utilizable spaces in a more effective way.
3. Student life
Since most of the students are new in this city, the school should introduce them useful information. Otherwise, students might waste their time. It is a good way to teach them about time arrangement. I regard one of the most important things in the university to learn is how to arrange your own time. School can give some suggestions on the brochure. Because every student in Taiwan does not know what they really want in the university. That will lose their purpose for learning. For example they can give some advises about how many times they should spend doing their homework, hanging out with their friends, doing a part time job, or starting their experiments…etc. School can give those advises on the brochure for students to allot their time correctly instead of wasting time.
School can also introduce some useful resources on the brochure. The purpose to attend to the university is to train our self learning ability. That means we can use some materials and resources in this campus which helps us to learn anything.
4. Quality of teaching
Minimize the students as possible as they can in one class. Teachers and students should have a one on one conference. Absence is definitely not allowed. Teacher should not only lecturer in the class. They should train students to discuss with some topics or to collaborate with each other. And it is also important to train the students to speak in public.
The universities in Taiwan, most of the students do not ask questions because they don’t feel they participate in the class. Teachers should tell them how to think critically. That is, to have their own thoughts and opinions.
5. Life on campus
Many people lost their purse while they are exercising. And some of them lost their car in parking lots. When some people parking cars, they lost their bags in their scooters when they just leaving for a while. According to statistics, people whose purse are stolen happens everyday in the campus. Apparently we can see that the security around this campus is terrible. We should set more security guards around the campus. Then we should have a street light at every corner. If school has enough money, they should get some monitors.
Second, there are too many traffic accidents in the front door because of several intersections. So the traffic problems should be concerned and arranged carefully. School can think a proper way to rearrange the traffic route. They can set up signals or have some police officers in front of the school.
6. Graduate and post-graduate research
We can encourage seniors to share their experiences about how they apply graduate school and some experiences when they search for jobs. School can hold an informal discussion meeting regularly. Thus, seniors can have more interaction with juniors. It helps juniors to get some knowledge while they don’t know what exactly they want.

Sports

More than eighty percents of teenagers are over-weight, more than thirty percents of young ladies don’t satisfy about their physical appearance; most of people in the world have a load of pressure and can’t find a proper way to reduce their pressure. We are facing many difficulties which relative to health in daily life but don’t even know how to prevent. According to an old saying “Exercise is a doorway to good health”. Nowadays more and more people concern about the topic subject of how to stay health by the most proper way. With a stressful job, situation and lifestyle, most of us ignore the importance of doing some sports. Many people cited their heavy workload as the reason for their breakdown. To improve our health, there can’t be any doubt that exercising regularly is the best way. There is a large amount of advantage of sporting, such as keep our body in shape, being healthier and stronger, and have more opportunities to meet other people. We can easily do exercise without spending money and also find great pleasure while sporting. In other words, exercise is the best preservative of health.

In current society, lots of people care about there physical appearance. Instead of taking medicine or wasting dispensable money doing plastic surgery, regular exercise has been the best way to keep our body in shape. According to studies, aerobic exercise such as biking, swimming and jogging are the best choice for staying in shape. Apparently, with few weeks of aerobics exercise will firm up our flabby stomach, fat bottoms and won’t make us look pale. We have heard that “better wear out shoes than sheets”, is a saying proves that exercise will do our health good. Aerobic exercise not only trains our muscle, promotes blood circulation and enhances metabolism, but also lose our weight. Thus, moderate and regular exercise is a sure way for the one who wants to lose weight and being slender.

As a saying goes “Move for Health”. No matter what we are going to do in the future, no one else can success without a healthy body. Exercise moderately will be the best way to improve our health. We all know that the aerobic exercise such as biking, swimming and jogging will be the right choice. Recently, there is an increasing popularity of cycling since bicycling is a good exercise, moreover, it doesn’t pollute the air and also conserve the energy. There is a strong evidence of a link between exercise and a healthy heart, for swimming it can promote the heart and lungs function. Jogging is the simplest way. All we need is having two legs. Furthermore, we can do it in anywhere and anytime. These kinds of sports promote our blood circulation, relieve stress and also enhance the immune system. In short, exercise is conductive to good health.

Out door exercise gives us more opportunities to meet other people, which improve our relationship. In this globalization world, no one can live without each other, so social ability is regarded to be an important skill. Team sports help to develop a person’s ability to talk easily to other people and do things in a group. For each of them who enjoy the same activity has the same interest that will be an easy way and a good chance to start a new conversation. If we are doing some competitive games such as basketball or volleyball games, than we can have a contact with our teammates. This has a very good effect both mentally and physically. Afterwards, we can exchange ideas and views, and encourage each other to make a progress. Enjoy the game and don’t care if you win or not. You will definitely find out that it was clean wholesome fun. By these kinds of exercises, we not only being healthier and stronger, keep our body in shape, but also modify our personal relationship.

With lots of benefits from doing sports, just move ahead and put them into practice. Although many people have an excuse which is they don’t have much free time for their favorite activities. Take a try sparing some time to stop keeping still on the sofa or sitting in front of the television and computer, take a walk on the sidewalk. And one day of the week should be set apart for relaxation. You will discover there will be a big difference since you begin to exercise. If you think that it is quite boring, especially for young ladies who are afraid of the sun burn will brown their skin, you can regard shopping as your leisure activities. While it may spend a lot more money, we cannot deny that it is still an exercise. Of course there is something you have to aware of before or after doing an exercise. Do the warm-up exercises before any kinds of sports, act according to your ability, and correct your sport posture. Keep the sports master’s spirit. Don’t be too serious to all the games. A real sportsman doesn’t seem to care if he wins or loses. That is, there are lots of other meaningful things that we can learn from a game. Furthermore experts appeal that we should do the exercise thirty to forty-five minutes each time and three to four times a week. Obviously, regularly exercises can not only improving our health, but also have a lot more additional functions which will do us good. That is to say, exercise will pay dividends in the end.

My opinion to improve English

As an international language, English education has been concerned by more and more people in this country. According to the statistics of The Basic Competence Test there are thirteen percents of students failed in the English composition and thirty-six percents of students failed in the English translation. English education is likely to be a serious problem in Taiwan.
First of all, take the English composition for an example, without knowing basic English grammar, we will probably not accomplish a perfect article. But the basic English grammar isn’t shown on the English text books to who begin to learn. Thus many students are confused then lose the interests in English. Also, we all know that most of the exams in Taiwan prefer to use multiple choices rather than writing an essay, so many students have the tendency to take a guess when they face some difficult problems. Students will unlikely to make a progress with this incorrect learning attitude. Furthermore, not only parents but also teachers may have a conception that good student is the one who always have good grades which influence students that all they need to do is only to get good grades. This may form the one who only care about there grades but forget the real goal of learning.
“Practice makes perfect” no matter what we are going to learn, this proverb gives us a right direction. As same as English, to the grammar problem, we can practice a simple sentence in the beginning. Of course, it is not that easy at first. But with a diligence practice, we won’t make mistake of simple grammar. Moreover try to put some easy translation questions in the tests rather than using the multiple choice or blanks filling questions. Practice during the daily life can probably help the students to face a big exam. Finally, teachers tend to drive in students that not only get good grades but know the real meaning is the best attitude to learning. Consequently, where our children’s education is concerned, no compromise is acceptable.

The Process To Study In DFLL

To study western literature and to learn many languages have always been my dreams. So I was determined to choose the subject which is relative to foreign languages to be my major study in the university. Unfortunately, I was only able to be accepted to study Chinese literature.

However, I didn’t stop to make an effort to reach my goal. I found out I can major in two subjects at the same time, but it needs a lot of hard work, and there is also an exam that we must past. I worked hard to keep my grades, otherwise, I read magazines to improve my reading and chose English composition class to sharpen my writing skill. Sometimes, I might probably think if I was doing a right thing or not, but I was lucky that everyone I met gave me lots of encouragements. Especially a teacher of my English comprehension class. She said the only secret is to “prepare well”. Thus I told myself no matter I was accepted or not, I will not be sorry to myself because I had tried my best. And I realized that if I prepared well, there must be an opportunity. Since then, not like some other students, I spent my spare time studying to strive for my future.

Nevertheless, when the exam was about to come, I got a fever. But how could I give up taking the exam? After exam, I was desperately disappointed and felt no more chance to fulfill my dream. I wondered why I had been prepared so long and couldn’t get what I want. After two weeks, the announcement was given. Surprisingly, I saw my name on it. Yes, I was accepted. I remembered the moment I cried. The feeling was like someone pulled me out of the hell. Then there was a proverb came out of my mind which is “No pays no gains”. I realized there is no short cut to success, if I would like to get a fruitful results, the only one I could depend on is myself. I thanked everyone who had helped me before and I, myself had surly learned an important lesson in my life.

The Differences between College Life and High School Life

There exist significant differences between students’ life in college and in high school, in terms of how much spare time they have, and the relationship between teachers and classmates. According to the freshman, most of them are not usual to the new life style in college. See the two examples given above , one the other words, we can probably say that college students have the freedom while high school students are restricted to have their own time.

Different from high school students, college students have much more free time to do whatever they want. For example, in high school, the administration has already arranged the courses, so every student has the same school time and spare time. Moreover most of them have to focus on the school studies. On the contrast, in college the only one who can decide to choose the course are the students themselves, so college students can enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities. In addition, high schools usually have three exams must past in one semester and college students only have two exams to deal with. So high school students will be much busier than college students. Thus we can apparently see that college students have much more free time to do whatever they want than high school students.

High school students can have a closer relationship with their classmates and teachers. In contrast with high school, college students aren’t so familiar with their classmates and teachers. For instance, in high school, classmates and teachers seldom change in one class, so everyone knows each other well. Unlike high school, in college each student haw the chance to choose what kind of class they have to attend. Because of that, the relationship between teachers and the students will not as close as in high school. Second, in high school, students eat lunch in class together, but in college, school will not restrict what you eat or who you eat with, so in high school, students can have more opportunity to know each other. Therefore, high school students can have a closer relationship with their classmates and teachers than in college.

Compare the differences between high school and college; we can easily discover the apparent distinction. Although there exist significant differences between college life and high school life, both of them are the academic place which every student must go through. Everyone has a difference attitude toward life; more and more life experience will only do well to one person. Those differences between them cannot be the judgment to measure which one is better. Because everyone has his own life style and they have the ability of self-controlling. And of course, everyone in every step of life has his own challenges to conquer. The most important thing is that what we have learned from it. Don’t ignore those challenges in the schools, because these are the reason why we get into high school and college--to achieve the accomplishments what we really want.

The people who influenced me the most

The person influences me the most would be a Canadian who I met for more than ten years and his name is Brad.

Since I was still an elementary school student, I met him in a cram school. He taught over there and then became my personal tutor. Brad is not only my tutor, but also my psychotherapist. Since his part-time job is a director, he has an exquisite observation on everything. He gave me many advices and suggestions on my view of life. I think he probably knows me well than my parents do.

For example, it is because of him that I become a person who doesn’t care about other’s judgment. When I was young, I was afraid of being myself and I had no confidence. Then, I learned from him that, do not care about what other people’s thoughts. Because they don’t even know who you really are. Also, he gave me some tips toward learning, which is being an active learner. Don’t stop asking questions and have a passion in learning anything. Thus, I want myself be a modest learner, and I won’t give up when I face difficulties. These are what he had taught me. To me, he is a great philosopher and I appreciate a lot.

Now he is in Canada, and I can't see him or chat to him anymore. I hope I had a chance to see him again. I have a several questions want to ask him. I guess only he is the only person who has got the answer I want. First, I will ask him that what he thinks the most important goal for us to live in this world. I am still a student in the university. I have two choices for my future now. I can graduate and go to find a job directly. Otherwise, I can go for a higher education. Some people regard the higher educational background as the most important thing, while some others think that they must earn money as soon as possible. I want Brad to share experiences when he was searching for jobs. Also I want to know his advices for us. Second, I want to know his definition for a friend. After entering this campus, I find out that we can hardly keep in touch with our classmates. Everyone is busy doing their own business Therefore; most of the friends become unfamiliar with each other. Is this kind of relationship a common thing that we just ignore it, or we have to be enthusiastic to save this situation? I hope Brad can give me the answer. Also I want to tell him that I miss him a lot.

The influences of TV programs

The topic of the oral training this week is to discuss the influences of the television and movies. After I saw this topic, some ideas came to my mind. I strongly agree that the television affect people in a negative way toward both children and adults.
Since I moved to Taichung from my hometown, I seldom watch TV. I chatted with my classmates and then I knew that the most popular TV programs to them is called “大學生了沒”. I recalled the memory when I first saw this program; I totally disagree with their viewpoints which they talked about on television. The college students in that program were showing off something or exaggerating the truth in order to get some attentions. For example, the way they searched for fun in the university is to dress up everyday, and stay out late every night. They spent their time in the pub, dating with guys, or buying some well-known brand.
In fact, I don’t really care about what they have mentioned in that program. However, I am afraid that they may have a bad impact on teenagers. Some of the people may think that attending to the university would be a lot fun then they may probably ignore their responsibility of their schoolwork. Therefore, this kind of programs should be concerned by parents and the government.
I think that most important of all, celebrities should be aware of their acts and their speaking. Because people will imitate them, and also it will cause people’s aberrant behavior. Moreover, some announcements need to be declared and people should be well-educated. Many things influence us in an unconscious way that we must pay attention to it and also watch our behavior at all the times.

My thoughts toward learning in the university

Midterm exam is approaching, and I can't imagine that time really goes by so fast. I will have some exams and the reports need to be done in this week.
I have got almost 30 credits this semester. I deal with each subject carefully to prevent from failing the exam. I have never had this kind of experience before. So I must take care of every step.
Now I finally know the importance of time arrangement which is only if I use time efficiently can me deal with each subject well. I won't waste the time anymore. I remember the vocabulary during the break of two classes. I cut my time in several pieces to do trivial things. I use my spare time to read the schoolwork. I have never preview the subject before but I do now. After the class I will review it in a fast speed.
Many people say that I will get crazy to deal with those subjects and activities. To me, they are totally wrong. I find the truth meaning of studying in the university which I didn't know before. I have much more interests in studying.
I am proud of myself of studying hard in this campus. I heard many people said that they can do nothing but fooling around in the university. I want to tell them that only in the university can improve our attitude toward learning. We can choose what we want to do rather than being controlled by others. If you choose to learn nothing then no one can help you. We must have the sense of self learning in the university. God will only help who helps themselves. Stop whining and have the sense of the responsibility will be the best way to gain knowledge.

What listening and composition class have taught me

I am a student of Fiona Liu's listening class. One of her assignments is that, we must remember hundreds of words every week.
When I was young, I hated to remember the vocabulary. Ever since the teacher wanted us to remember words, I did it unwillingly. Since I attended this course, I've learned how to remember a large amount of words. The tip is to get used to do it. I am now preparing for the toefl exam. I can easily remember plenty of words in one day. That is helpful to me. I even can't imagine that one day I will be happy to remember vocabulary. Thus I appreciate Fiona who really is a great teacher.
Last week, we had to finish the essay and then submitted to the criterion. The score I got is 4. I wasn't quite satisfied when I first saw the score. Then I saw the suggestions and the corrections on the website. I was totally upset. I was not that good in writing as matter as a fact. I corrected the article and then submitted in the second time, and then I got 5. Finally I know the weakness of my essay. And that also helped a lot for me to prepare the toefl exam. Thanks for Shelly for teaching us how to write an essay.
During these days of the learning, I encourage myself to give much more efforts. I am not a genius, but I know that practice makes perfect. Never give up and keep going, Lillian!!!

Oral Training Class

Oral Training Class impressed me last week. We had a debate and the topic was “boys and girls should attend separate school.” We argued during the class, and I give my own opinion toward this topic.
My opinion is that I do not agree with this kind of system.
Then I ask several questions and then I talk about my opnions:
When you are graduated from school, how do you get along with different gender’s people?
You don’t have the chances to have the opinions of the opposite gender’s people.
You don’t have the opportunity to learn how to respect others.
Not only the gender problems, also the issues of class and race made me think about the same question which is respect. To respect all kinds of people which is different from us is really important in nowadays society.
And some researches show that boys have a different way of learning with girls, so they some experts suggest that they should be apart. I found out on the internet that this kind of systems have little impact on them. So I totally disagree with this kind of system. To me this kind of method is an extreme and conventional system.

TGIF

I love Friday since I was young. Friday's night always sooth my mood, calm my anxiety mind and I always give myself a chance to relax myself on Friday night.
This week, I could hardly imagine how nervous I was to get to each class. I got 28 credits in this semester. Incredibly tired and exhausted. After the last class on this Friday. I made a decision-go see a good movie. Finally, I chose a movie called "不能沒有你". I strongly recommend everyone go support this movie.

I was shocked by the first scene about a father who wanted to commit suicide with his daughter by jumping down from a cross-over bridge. Then the movie started to explain why it happened.The father's wife left them and then disappeared. The little girl couldn't go to the school because of the law. Father begged the administrator, legislator, police officers to let her daughter go to school. All of his applications failed. And then he came up with a mind which is to beg the president. Yet seeing the president, he was caught by the police officers. After series of miserable things happened. He then decided to do the strongest protest. He climbed up to the cross-over bridge and yelled out "this society is unfair". But he was caught then sent to the jail and his daughter was sent to another family.
The movie's director is "戴立忍". At first, he used the black and white scene to describe the low-level group of the society. Then he had an exquisite depict about the higher group. This kind of comparison touched me, and then made me thinking about how unfair this society is. Most of the people only care about themselves. Government doesn’t even help the real poor people. How selfish they are. All they can do is cast their responsibility to another institution. Though that is a cruel fact to see, the saddest thing is that I can't even and don't know how to help them. I want myself don't be like that kinds of people who only care about the money, the power, the position. Just thinking more about there still have lots of people who is much more miserable than us and cherish what I've already have in my life.

New semester

This is the first week of the new semester. I've been looking forward to it, since I've applied to minor DFLL. There exist significant differences between my original department-Chinese literatures and the department of foreigner languages and literatures. DFLL focuses on the interaction between student and teacher, while DCL only read the text book during the class. DFLL has lot more homework to be done, but DCL mostly have only two exams to be passed in one semester. Students' participation is required every week or they may be failed. On the contrary, DCL isn't that strict.
I can hardly adjust to this kind of new environment and the strategy of learning, but so far I like it very much. That makes me feel I was really learning something in the university and not just muddle-headed wasting time and money in here. I definitely believe that it can enhance my English writing, listening, speaking and reading skill. And the most important part of all is that it can train my speaking ability on the stage. I attended some speech contest in my high school, but I was nervous to speak on the stage. One of the classes impressed me which is Fiona's listening class. In the first class, she wanted us to introduce ourselves and use a ward to describe ourselves. We must came out of the idea in short minutes and to stand on the stage to tell the whole class. That really scared me! But I think I can finally overcome this kind of obstacle. I tell myself don't be afraid of trying anything or escaping from anything. Before getting a job, this campus is the best environment to enhance our ability. Just Go For It!!!
